The Reid Alexander Interchange project is a design and construct road project within the City of Swan and City of Stirling in the northern metropolitan suburbs of Perth. The project involves a grade-separated interchange at the intersection of Reid Highway and Alexander Drive.
The project generally comprises of the following works:
- Design and construction of twin bridges to carry Reid Highway traffic over Alexander Drive
- Design and construction of ramps to connect Alexander Drive to Reid Highway including traffic signal control of these ramps at their connection to Alexander Drive
- Design and construction of a drainage basin and drainage system
- Design and construct traffic noise and privacy screen wall structures
- Design and construct to modify and/or relocate services affected by the Project works
- Design and construction of intelligent transport system facilities
- Construction of associated site works such as retaining walls, footpaths, drainage, lighting, revegetation and landscaping etc.
