Abigroup has a new General Manager Rail.
Greg Rush brings with him more than 23 years experience of working in the rail business.
Greg, who is based in Abigroup’s Melbourne Office, was responsible for developing and operating successful rail businesses in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania.
In his new role Greg will be working to build Abigroup’s growing national rail business which has seen the company:
design and construct 110km of railway line for Queensland Rail as part of the Bauhinia Regional Rail project;
- carry out rail duplication and realignment works in Western Australia for Rio Tinto;
- design and construct the Antiene Rail Coal Unloader and a new 8km rail loop for Macquarie Generation in NSW;
- carry out a major rail upgrade through Brisbane’s southern suburbs including the construction of a new 9.5km track and the upgrade/reconstruction of seven railway stations; and
- build an 8km rail loop track installation, signalling and wayside devices and inbound concrete structures at the new coal export terminal at Kooragang Island in Newcastle.
