Abigroup completes work on Australian Marine Complex in WA
20 October 2010
Abigroup has finished work on the $26 million Australian Marine Complex Service and Supply Base in Western Australia.
The contract for the project was awarded by LandCorp and the facility is now fully operational, servicing the Perth based supply chain for Chevron’s Gorgon Gas development on WA’s North West Shelf.
Abigroup’s WA Engineering Manager, Mark Davidovic said, “This was a full civil construction project including marine, concrete and piling works and demonstrates to the local market Abigroup’s diversity in terms of civil infrastructure construction.”
“Although we had a short timeframe to perform the works, our project team was able to complete the job a month ahead of schedule to the highest of standards and with no lost time injuries.”
