New GM for Abigroup Mining Services

Abigroup Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Doug Grewar as General Manager of its national mining business, Abigroup Mining Services.
Based in Queensland, Doug will head up the national mining business which delivers total mine site turnkey solutions including the full scope of contract mining services from drill and blast through to train loading.

In addition the company provides mining-specific engineering and civil works such as haul road construction, waste disposal and tailing storage facilities, and the design and construction of materials handling fixed plant.
Doug is a respected and well known leader in the mining industry, with an enviable work history, having held senior positions with mining contractors and resource owners including Downer EDI Mining, Macmahon Contractors, Roche Bros and most recently as Managing Director of Drummond Gold.
With his extensive senior management expertise, combined with hands-on operational experience in mining and contracting, Doug will provide substantial leadership to the Abigroup Mining Services business which, as a subsidiary of Abigroup, prides itself on providing high levels of service to its partners and clients in the resource industry.
