Kina Bao
Graduate Engineer - Southern Link Upgrade - VIC "Abigroup's Graduate Development Program has given me the opportunity to look at all aspects of the construction industry. I started at estimating within the Building Division, moved onto the Partnerships Victoria in Schools project after 6 months where I teamed up with supportive, experienced professionals who were keen to help me improve my performance and knowledge. After a year on the schools project, I am now working on a major engineering project - the Southern Link Upgrade Alliance. Abigroup has offered me the support I need to develop my technical skills between different business sectors, and those experiences are invaluable to me."

Batoul Khayat
Graduate Engineer - Lawson Alliance - NSW "I graduated from the University of NSW with a civil engineering degree at the end of 2009, and since then I've been working with Abigroup on the Lawson Alliance project in the Blue Mountains. Being on this project has given me exposure to a range of engineering aspects such as mainline roadworks, rail and bridge works. Although my work is predominantly related to roadworks, by being on the project I still get to learn about rail and bridge works. I'm very excited by the roles I've been given and the level of responsibility Abigroup has given me. My main work includes drainage, traffic control and kerb & gutter. I enjoy every moment of it and I'm faced with a new challenge every day. The people at the project are great to work with and everybody is supportive.

Jon Langton
Site Engineer - Head Office - QLD
"For the last few years of my civil engineering degree, I was fortunate enough to gain experience with Abigroup on the Northern Busway Alliance project through an Undergraduate Engineering role. This enabled me to get some real hands-on involvement in the construction industry - a world of which I knew virtually nothing. I learnt a great deal on this project, made life-long friends and it gave me a real perspective on my studies. Since graduating, I have worked on the Mudgeeraba Interchange Upgrade and this has provided me with a multitude of experiences and skills. Through Abigroup I have not only gained great life and work experiences, but have also met a wide range of friendly and knowledgeable people who are now great mates. I look forward to what the future has in store."
